PowerSmart Campaign

SmartPower and our partners at the Yale School of Environment, The Connecticut Green Bank and the Stern School of Business at NYU are working under a grant from the US Department of Energy with selected communities in Connecticut. Installing disaster warning systems, purchasing radio communications equipment, and conducting emergency response training are examples of preparedness actions. Disaster mitigation is at the heart of emergency management.
