After pouring over the 150+ ads submitted for the SmartPower/ YouTube Clean Energy Ad Challenge, the judges finally settled on this one: a spot created by Dan Sheppard, a 19 year old advertising major from Nebraska. It’s called “Telephones.”

Grandpa Joke Takes Home The Bacon

[...] Keri Enright took her turn at the podium to give about 100 people some insights into the way SmartPower works to recruit and educate Clean Energy Communities. Keri advocated homework, collaboration and flexibility when setting up a community-based campaign. One of the highlights of Keri’s presentation was a showing of the winning entry in the SmartPower/YouTube Clean Energy Ad Challenge. (You can watch it here.) She also brought up SmartPower’s sponsorship of the National Theater for Children’s produciton of “The Unseen Green Machine.” Since all the conference attendees were treated to and NTC show at lunch that point really hit home.
