Green Your Ride: On Two Wheels!

If you thought electric Super Bikes would be wimpy and slow, think again. Michael Czysz made the MotoCzysz E1pc, a battery powered motorcycle that can reach up to 140 MPH running at 500 volts. That’s beating its closest competitor with a top speed of 102 MPH.
The motor is called “D1g1tal Dr1ve” which directly connects the throttle and the rear wheel to make this ride a racing BEAST. Also, the battery that powers the electric motor connects without any wires for easy transfer.
Obviously, a key component in Super Bikes is racing. The MotoCzysz E1pc is getting ready to race this week in the 37.7 mile Isle of Man TT. This race can “make or break” you and your motorcycle, literally. This is due to the fact that the track is designed to give your motorcycle instant credibility if you’re motorcycle and you the rider, can complete the windy track. In the 91 years of Isle of Man TT’s race history, 227 people have unfortunately died. Hopefully, no tragedies will occur except for the loss of those loud and obnoxious gas “hogs” that annoy the heck out of everyone who owns a convertible.
With all the talk about lowering your carbon footprint and having a less dependence on foreign oil, this new speedy electric vehicle should show the racing fans and men everywhere that they too can help make a difference (without driving a wimpy Prius).
Check out a video of the practice runs:
