As part of our educational outreach efforts, SmartPower, in collaboration with the National Theatre for Children, offered over 60 schools in the state of Connecticut a live theatrical production focusing on clean, renewable energy resources.  Featuring Aberdeen Jean, Boomerang Jack and the Great Waster, the performance was designed for students in kindergarten through sixth grade.  The program was performed by professional actors from The National Theatre for Children (NTC), a Minneapolis, Minnesota based organization that specializes in writing and performing educational programs for children nationwide using simple sets and audience participation. The children throughout Connecticut learned that Clean Energy is real, it’s here, and it’s working.
