Here We Grow Again! David Stout Joins SmartPower As Solarize U Outreach Manager

​David Stout, former “Solar Ambassador” from our Solarize Newtown Campaign has joined SmartPower as our Solarize U Outreach Manager.  In addition to serving as spokesman for the Solarize Newtown Campaign, David was the first Newtown CT homeowner to install a system through the Solarize program.

​David has years of experience in the energy and solar fields including extensive work consulting for an energy services company (ESCO) consulting with Connecticut’s utilities.   But it is his passion and proven success with our Solarize program that makes David a perfect fit with SmartPower.

Solarize U is a unique twist on the Solarize Model.  We’ll be working on selected campuses that include Eastern CT State U, Southern CT State U, UConn, University of New Haven, Wesleyan, and Yale, to encourage their staffs, professors and families of students to go solar.  The campaign launches in January, in partnership with The CT Green Bank!

So after the Holidays and when schools back in session – let’s Solarize!
